Downloadable Planet, Europe and Netherlands MBTiles frequently updated

I have been automating the generation of frequently updated MBTiles versions of the Planet, Europe and Netherlands map for a while now, mainly for personal/educational reasons, with the use of Planetiler, Ansible and Terraform.

Since I assume not everyone who could use this has access or the funds to run a strong enough machine to generate this, I want to share these with the public. You can find them at https://osm.dbtc.link/mbtiles/

Feel free to mirror them, as I have no idea if the traffic this might generate would breach any Acceptable Use Policy 😁. If it appears to be very popular, I might switch to distribution via BitTorrent.

Update schedule:

    Planet: weekly
    As you can see the planet file has the LZ4 extension, this is a compression-algorithm which a very good speed/size ratio and reduces the size with about 20-25 GB. It

    Europe: every 2 days

    Netherlands: daily

The planet file has my main priority, sometimes the clean-up does not seem to work which results in Europe/Netherlands not always being up-to-date.
